To God be all the glory! Neighbors from town, city and suburb came together to enjoy music, the Word, arts and crafts, games, food, awards, the water slide and each other! We’re already dreaming about next year.

Thank you to you: all the friends and family who came out. Likewise, thank you to our awardees, choirs, sponsors, and planners. We hope everyone went home with a beautiful memory. Especially don’t forget, beyond the prizes, how your faith helped hold back the rain.

We are especially thankful to the people who came forward during the altar call. May you walk in, rest in, and forever be restored in God’s perfect grace.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I Know

God has great things with you

Reflection on Jeremiah 29:11

Jeremiah wrote this letter to God’s people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem to Babylon, as they now live in exile. He reminded them that even though they were not where they expected to be, God had not forsaken them just like he hasn’t forsaken YOU!

If we read Jeremiah 29:7, we see God’s plan for them: “… seek the peace and prosperity of the city I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” God was letting them understand that His master plan for them was to be used to bless the world around them.

In today’s society where we find ourselves sometimes in challenging situations such as; work, community, family settings, and sometimes church, God is telling us “…He will be with us…” (Joshua 1:9) in other words “I got your back”. All He is asking of us is to be faithful and obedient where He has us… pray and seek God’s face with all your heart, and then you will see the FAVOR of God all over you and your family!
